Our Mission

Our mission is to deliver an exceptional training experience and empower our members to succeed in their fitness journey. We offer personal training, group training, and online training. We also include nutritional guidance with all of our training services. Our Xtend Fitness Specialists are degreed and certified professionals that have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. We use a comprehensive 3-step approach to health. Through the 3 Pillars of Xtend: Accountability, Education, and Motivation; we help our members successfully achieve their health and wellness goals. We stick to scientifically proven methods and ensure that every training session is fun, safe, and specific to the needs of our members. We take pride in having incredibly dedicated members. Daniel Lopez

Xtend Fitness Specialist & Owner

Daniel graduated with Cum Laude Honors from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, specializing in Exercise Science. He has experience in private, corporate, and professional sports settings. He has had the pleasure of working with diverse populations ranging from children/adolescents, elite athletes, and adults/seniors. He is a firm believer that exercise should be both fun and effective to not only achieve, but also maintain a physically healthy lifestyle. His focus involves utilizing exercise and nutrition as a preventative treatment, the main objective is to use safe and effective methods to improve health while decreasing the chance of developing chronic diseases and musculoskeletal injuries in the future. The goal with any training program is to keep every element of the routine specific to individual goals and needs of the client. To ensure success, he develops individualized training and nutrition plans prior to the start of any program. Whether it’s weight loss or muscle gain, every program includes a well-structured resistance training routine carried out with precise technique. Daniel plans to become a leading expert in the field to better serve the community. He genuinely believes that with the right attitude and dedication you can achieve anything! In his free time, he enjoys outdoor workouts, playing sports and spending time with his loved ones. Family is the most important aspect of his life; his wife, parents, three sisters, niece and nephews mean the world to him.

Sarah Ras

Xtend Fitness & Yoga Specialist

Sarah is a certified Hatha yoga instructor and personal trainer that has experience with one-on-one, group and corporate training. She is very adaptable in her training style, and is experienced in creating modifications to exercises and movements in order to handle injuries and imbalances. Sarah has worked with all stages and phases of life including pregnancy, amputees, adults and seniors. She whole-heartedly believes that it is incredibly important to have a personal connection with each client as every person and every body is unique and has individual needs. Her training objective is to bond strength, flexibility, and mobility to create a stable body that will prevent or help heal imbalances in her clients.
